The Rotary Club of Surprise held their Inaugural Military Appreciation Event at the Colonnade on Nov. 8, 2022.
The event was attended by veterans from the Colonnade and Grandview Terrace. Guest speaker Lt. Col. Tyler Smith form Luke AFB is pictured with club president Brian Laurie. They say it takes a village and the ‘Inaugural’ Military Appreciation event could not have happened without all of you! Thank you!
The students really added to this program. Standing by the military branch flags, color guard, and what beautiful voices! Rev. David, Debbie Lee, Chaplain (CPT) Kurt Bishop, and our speaker, Lt. Col. Tyler Smith from Luke AFB were fantastic and each shared how much they appreciated being involved with this event. The ‘Missing Soldier Table’, the printed programs, the nametags, the added touches (fixes) with the floral bouquet, the placement of the flags, the greeters, and more…all appreciated!
