Career and Technical Education (CTE) programs prepare students to enter the workforce with the academic and vocational skills needed to compete successfully in the job market. CTE courses typically include competency-based learning. Students achieve academic excellence through authentic, hands-on, career focused learning. They graduate with the skills necessary for successful entry into post-secondary, career, and life opportunities. CTE programs are the backbone of a strong, well-educated workforce, which fosters productivity in business and industry and contributes to America’s leadership in the international marketplace.
West-MEC West-MEC (Western Maricopa Education Center) is a public school district dedicated to providing students innovative Career & Technical Education programs that will prepare them to enter the workforce & pursue continuing education.
Our meeting this week will be at Chef Peter's Bistro in the Sun Village Community Center. Starting this coming Thursday, January 17th our Club meetings will be moved to the big Kachina Ballroom back behind the restaurant.
Since this is a gated community make sure to tell the guard at the gate you are attending the Rotary Meeting. They will know what you are talking about.
